Upcoming events:
May 10: trip to dorney park (an amusement park) to see step son's marching band play
May 11: dedication ceremony (work function)
May 11: girls night/game night (this will be a food challenge, cause there are always yummy foods around and i cannot say no)
May 12: mothers day (plans are now a buffet lunch near grandmas with my inlaws)
May 31 9am: endocrinologist appointment

Scheduled (May 7): 30 day shred level 3, dance central 3 and walk it out
actual: 30 day shred level 3, dance central 3 and walk it out

level 3 of the 30 day shred is mostly floor work.  but there is one cardio interval where you do the exercises with the weights.  i could not do jumping jacks with 6 lbs on each arm.  and the punches were much slower than the people on the tv were doing. 

i was starting to think about what i am going to do in June for my workouts.  I know that i could probably cut 20 minutes off my workout if i was to not do walk it out, but its a fun little game that i enjoy, my heart rate just isnt that high while "just" walking. walking is a great workout.

im debating on only doing the weight portions of the 30 day shred and cut out the cardio portion (im not going to lose my muscle tone).  i have the EA active (1 and 2) that i could use, that sets a schedule for me. i also am still a member at the Y, that has tons of free classes i can attend any time i want (ok cant do it while at work).  for a while i was really into zumba, then i started not liking the one instructor and the other instructors classes would be FULL.  so i got annoyed and stopped going.

anyway today is a rainy day.  we need this rain, we had a really dry April (not normal for the philly area, normaly in april it is so wet that mushrooms just grow out of the grass).
